One of the last true vacations that I’ve been on was to Toronto, Ontario, in September 2006. It was cold, raining, and slightly windy but was a new experience. I had briefly lived there in 1999 after college and I adored the city.

It had all four seasons, historical old buildings, and a different culture from the one I grew up with in West Texas.

I had the opportunity to take my mother there and she truly enjoyed the opportunity to see another country. True, parts of Toronto look like any other North American city, but it has a different vibe. It’s safe, clean, and very multicultural.

I can’t wait to go back!

Where to find it? (map)

This one’s a little hard to pinpoint as the tour bus went all around.
